The Environmental Protection Department resumes processing of applications previously placed on the waiting list

The Government has further injected an additional funding of $1.5 billion to the original $2 billion EV-charging at Home Subsidy Scheme (EHSS) in the 2022-23 Budget, to extend the EHSS for four years to the 2027-28 financial year.  With the additional funding injected to the EHSS, the Environmental Protection Department has resumed processing of those applications previously placed on the waiting list and new applications received progressively since the 3rd quarter of 2022 on a first-come-first-served basis until the whole funding is used up.
